Ladies playing walking football

On the day when, hopefully, we'll be celebrating a famous victory in the Woman's World Cup, it's worthwhile considering the opportunities that walking football provides.

At Surrey FA they have a mixed team league and in the Thames Valley League, there is a ladies division.

Certainly not as many opportunities as men to play walking football, with the majority of clubs still exclusively men. But the tide will change, and many clubs would very much like to see a growing presence of ladies playing alongside them in their social sessions, and representing them in leagues and tournaments.

How does a club go from no ladies to a group?
